Himachal Pradesh Attracted 4.85 Lakh Foreigners Last Year

Despite the slowdown, hill stations of Himachal Pradesh attracted nearly 5 lakh foreign tourists in 2011, an increase of more than 30,000 than the previous year. The state has witnessed constant increase in foreign tourist arrivals over the past five years as from 2.07 lakh in 2007, it has touched 4.85 lakh in 2011. The state expects to attract more than 5 lakh foreign visitors this year.
