For many people holidays to Goa are all about the beaches, they are simply stunning. Anjuna is arguably the most visited beach and boasts a picturesque coconut grove backdrop and a nearby flea market, ideal for picking up a souvenir or two for the folks back home.

Check out the churches
No trip to Goa is complete without visiting one of the churches. You don’t have to be spiritual to enjoy a visit to one of these stunning buildings; they are filled with beautiful stonework, art and historic relics and are the perfect place for a spot of quiet contemplation.

Sample the cuisine
Part of the joy of a holiday to Goa is trying the simple yet delicious cuisine. A perfect blend of influences, this part of India offers a fusion of Konkan, Portuguese and Bahamani Nawabi traditions making dishes spicy and flavoursome. Many restaurants are situated along the beach, adding to the holiday experience.

Find your sea legs
A great way to enjoy the scenery is by taking a river or sea cruise. There are lots of options available all at competitive prices so it’s worth shopping around.

Commune with nature
